Hello My name is Mike Jansen. I live in the Philippines working on earning my living from online. I will keep this page updated as things develop. I figure some might find my story interesting aside from my reviews.

I started out just being tired of the daily grind in america.   There just didn’t seem much point to making others rich and shoveling snow every winter. So I looked for a place that has no snow and many beautiful sights.  So I learned how to do delayed gratification. It took me over a year to save my money as I did not make much as a janitorial supervisor.  While saving money I found a sweet woman on the island of Mindanao Philippines.  I told her it would take me a year or more to save my money to come there and would she have the patience to wait? She said yes .. and then actually did wait.  I saved up 3000 plus dollars and paid for my one way ticket to the Philippines.  Crazy you say? Maybe.   We shall see… the great experiment continues.. will i make it or will i fall flat on my face? Who knows. I have a small disability payment and still have a good bit of savings left.. as well as friends that owe me money back in the u.s.

I plan to start an online business in the next few days, a mail drop/remailing service for those that do a lot of traveling and only want one address.. or for those that want to seem to live somewhere for their own reasons. I’m also looking into maybe teaching English in china till i get a couple other business’s going.  I keep a positive mental attitude as that is the only way we can change the world around us and accomplish goals.  I will have some things we do here locally as well, like selling ice and make some food items for sale.. whatever seems likely to work after some research.

Update January 11th.

Selling ice and ice juice is doing well. It pays the electric bill at the very least. I have some privacy products that are selling, the mail drop and a bank product. I am now getting started on E-bay, I will sell anything i can … the ideas are things I know works as a friend of mine did them to make a living in the Philippines when he was here. I won’t reveal exactly what im doing as i dont need a large amount of competition. I will mention how things are going with a update once in a while, but if you want specifics it will take a consulting fee. Right now I doubt anyone cares what I sell till they find out how well I do with it. Most westerners reading this probably don’t need to make money in the Philippines anyway . Cuz as you know we are all rich.. and or at least smart enough to come here with enough money, LOL not me. Enough for now till next update.
